LAZORA Packout mounting plates and accessories
Packout-style boxes are made to stack and lock. LAZORA mounting plates lock them to a truck bed, van floor or garage wall; a folding table turns the stack into a workstation; and a steel dolly puts it on wheels.

Where will the boxes live
| Truck bed or van floor, two boxes | Mounting plate 2-pack |
|---|---|
| One box in a cab or shelf | Full plate |
| A workstation on the stack | Folding table |
| Rolling around the shop | Tool box dolly |

Choosing a Packout mounting plate
A Packout mount plate gives a toolbox a fixed place to lock in: bolt the plate to the floor, wall or side panel, then click the box on and off as needed. LAZORA plates are full-size metal, stronger and longer-lasting than plastic, and come with molle backing plates and bolts to spread the load through sheet metal or plywood.
Plan the mounting holes before you drill: check what is behind the panel, keep clear of fuel lines and wiring in vehicles, and on a garage wall fix the plate into studs. In a truck bed or van, leave room to lift the box straight up when you unlock it.
Building a mobile Packout station
The folding work table clips to the side of a stack and gives a flat surface for repairs and assembly, with a rubber-coated magnetic tray that holds screws and bits. When it is not needed it folds flat against the box for transport.
Under the stack, the LAZORA tool box dolly is a carbon-steel base rated for 200 lb, with 360° swivel casters and two locking brakes. Lock both brakes before you open a drawer at the top of a tall stack.
Wall mount, floor or truck bed
A Packout mount works wherever a box needs a secure home. On a garage wall, the mounting plate turns a stack of boxes into a hanging storage system: fix the plate into studs at a comfortable height and click the boxes on and off as needed. On a van or trailer floor, the plate stops boxes sliding under braking. In a truck bed or a UTV cargo area, it keeps the Milwaukee Packout boxes organized and secure over rough ground.
- Garage wall: screw into at least two studs; use the backing plates on thin panels.
- Van floor: through-bolt with the molle backing plates under the floor panel.
- Truck bed: check the spacing of the bed ribs and drill on the flat sections.
- Trailer wall: use backing plates behind thin sheet panels.
Spacing and mounting holes
The plate has rows of mounting holes so you can line it up with studs, floor ribs or existing holes. Measure the spacing before you drill, mark through the plate and drill pilot holes first. Paint or seal any bare metal edges in a vehicle so the holes do not rust, and keep the box locking points clear so the Packout system clicks in cleanly.
For the folding table and the dolly, no drilling is needed: both clip to the standard Packout locking points on the boxes, so the whole storage solution can move from the garage wall to the truck and back.
Metal versus plastic mounts
Plastic mounts are light, but they flex under a loaded box and crack in cold weather. LAZORA plates are metal with an electroplated surface treatment, designed to carry heavy boxes on a bumpy truck floor and to stay flat on a garage wall. The metal-reinforced backing plates spread the load around every bolt, so the plate holds its shape and the mounting holes do not tear through thin panels.
The finish is a clean, durable surface that is easy to wipe down, and the plates are versatile: the same wall mount design works on a trailer wall, in a truck cab, on a shop wall or on the floor of a work van. Customers build their setup in stages — one plate this year, a second next year — because each plate is a self-contained part of the Packout storage system.
Before you install
- Check the weight you plan to hang: a full Packout box can weigh 40 lb or more.
- Check existing holes in the vehicle; using them saves drilling.
- Measure the spacing between studs, ribs or cross-members.
- Plan any painting or sealing of drilled edges before the plates go on.
- Keep the instructions and hardware list for your specific uses.
